Hi Bob, interesting area, although I would say it is a little to country for me. Of course most of the country was “country” back then. Hope all is still well, take care of yourself.

Yeah, it was an area in transition. After the oil shocks of the 70s the local economy really dropped, but now it is the fastest growing area in PA. I grew up in a rural area where gardens were plowed by horse and many people had chickens or a hog or two. That was too country. We liked Beverly Hills, it was middle middle-class, not too far from Allentown for major shopping and close to Coopersburg and Emmaus for local needs. Most of all, with at least 1/2 acre lots we were not”asshole to elbow” with neighbors. We ried a condo for a while and DID NOT LIKE IT. Only thing worse would be an apartment.

I like the new look. Is there a way to get copies of the pictures from Scott’s wedding?

    • Bob says:

Thanks for the vote of approval. As to Scott the answer is yes. There were about 80 shots and that would choke the mail system if I tried to do that, I think, but I could try with small low res photos which would look OK on your screen but lousy printed. I made a photo book from the episode and could have another one made and sent to you. I will have to charge you for what my cost is but I would guess not less than $30 or more than $50. AS a matter of fact, Scott told me that my book got finished before his photographers. It all depends on what you want to do with the photos. Please let me know.

I don’t think I would need all the wedding pictures. I’d like a few shots of Scott’s new family and any with you and Aunt Marge, my parents and Joe and I. Is there a way to do a smaller book?

    • Bob says:

That’s a good idea, I will look into it. I think the book had 56 pictures in it, perhaps I could copy it, rename it and edit it. Maybe other procedures as well. here are probably no pictures of me, as I was the one with the camera, but it has been a long time since I did this. I will investigate.

Thanks, I appreciate the comment. I have been trying to develop a more or less conversational style ever since I started this blog. I must get back to posting.
